Stormwater ponds built to the plans
Most commercial sites need a detention or bio-retention pond to manage stormwater. Trinity Earthworks excavates and shapes ponds to the engineer’s grades, installs the outlet structures and pipe, and hauls off excess material.
At Edison Park, our crew graded and excavated five bio-retention ponds and hauled off about 4,000 tons of material.
What’s included
- Pond excavation and shaping to design grades
- Embankments and side slopes
- Outlet structures, headwalls and pipe
- Haul-off of excess material

Detention & Bio-Retention Ponds questions
What’s the difference between detention and bio-retention?
Detention ponds hold stormwater and release it slowly. Bio-retention areas also filter it through soil and plants. We build both to the engineer’s design.
Do you install the pond’s outlet structure?
Yes, along with the storm pipe that feeds it.
Need detention & bio-retention ponds on your next site?
Upload the plans and we’ll get you a number, usually within a few days.
