Safety, Licensing & Insurance
The credentials general contractors check before they hire a site sub, all in one place.
Credentials
- Licensed Tennessee General Contractor with the municipal-utility (MU) endorsement
- TNEPSC-certified inspectors on our own staff
- NASSCO PACP, LACP and MACP certified camera operators
- OSHA 30 and CPR certifications held by many of our crew members
- Insured for commercial work, with COIs and W-9 sent same day on request
On every jobsite
Credentials only matter if they show up on the jobsite. Here’s what safety looks like on a Trinity site, every day:
- Morning safety briefings. Every crew starts the day going over the plan, the hazards on that site and who’s doing what.
- Call 811 before we dig. Utilities are located and marked before any excavation, and we hand dig near marked lines.
- Trench protection. A competent person inspects every trench daily. Trenches 5 feet and deeper are sloped, benched or protected with a trench box, as OSHA requires.
- Equipment inspections. Operators walk around and check their machines before every shift, and anything unsafe gets parked until it’s fixed.
- Spotters and swing zones. Spotters guide backing trucks and equipment, and everyone stays clear of the swing radius.
- PPE on every site. Hard hats, hi-vis, safety-toe boots and eye protection, plus hearing and respiratory protection when the work calls for it.
- Confined space procedures. Manholes and structures are treated as confined spaces, with air monitoring before anyone goes in.
- Stop-work authority. Anyone on a Trinity crew can stop the work if something looks unsafe, with no pushback.
- Report and learn. Incidents and near misses are reported and reviewed so the same thing doesn’t happen twice.
The goal is simple: everyone goes home the same way they showed up.
